I am so excited first because it is my daughter’s 4th birthday today! WOW! Second, I just must share this great new breakfast recipe for breakfast sweet potatoes I tried last week. Yes, sweet potatoes for breakfast! I was skeptical until I tried it and WHOA!!! It was so good and filing and not at all weird for breakfast. I found it in a newsletter from this great site a colleague at work shared with me called Cook for Good. It is all about how to eat on a food stamp allowance and have great tasting meals you could proudly present at a dinner party.
Here is the link for the wonderful recipe for Breakfast Sweet Potatoes with Cinnamon Yogurt sauce. I did not have plain yogurt so I just added some cinnamon to my vanilla organic yogurt and it was good.

Also, please check out the website that houses this great recipe, some great e-cookbooks for real foods your family would actually eat- for cheap and some great information. I believe the author and I agree that kids love real food and that it is the parents that need to re-educate our minds and our tastes to enjoy REAL foods again and SAVE our money. Linda provides some great easy recipes that taste great and use inexpensive foods.
